Job Description
Reports to: Co-Chief Executive Officers
Works alongside: GMs and Leadership Team
Location: Dubai (Al Quoz / Alserkal Avenue), with occasional travel
Purpose of the Role
The Business Services Manager is a senior generalist who owns the company's internal operating infrastructure — its business systems, processes, reporting, documentation, and governance support. The role acts as a trusted partner to the Co-CEOs and as an internal consultant and implementation lead to the three General Managers, bringing structure, visibility, and discipline to a fast-growing business without holding line authority over departments. The role exists to ensure the organization runs on robust, scalable foundations while leadership focuses on commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Systems & Process Management
- Own the company's end-to-end business processes across commercial, operational, and administrative functions.
- Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of business systems, including ERP requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, rollout, and user adoption.
- Works alongside the GMs and leadership team to define, set up, and embed systems and processes within their respective business units, acting as an internal consultant and implementation lead rather than a line authority.
- Develop, document, and maintain SOPs, forms, templates, and workflows across all departments; keep them current, version-controlled, and continuously improved.
- Champion adoption of SOPs and systems across departments through collaboration, training, and follow-up with department leadership.
- Identify process gaps and inefficiencies and drive automation and standardization initiatives.
2. Business Reporting & Performance Visibility
- Support the Co-CEOs in preparing business reporting for the board and investors, including monthly and quarterly performance packs, KPI reporting, and variance commentary.
- Design and maintain dashboards providing clear visibility on commercial, operational, and financial KPIs across business channels.
- Coordinate with Finance to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
- Track and follow up on board and investor action items through to completion.
3. Legal & Corporate Governance Support
- Act as the internal liaison with external legal counsel; coordinate document reviews, follow-ups, and deadlines on behalf of the Co-CEOs.
- Manage sensitive documents — contracts, NDAs, board minutes, and corporate records — with strict confidentiality, version control, and secure storage.
- Track legal and regulatory requirements and ensure timely follow-through on licensing, corporate filings, and contractual obligations.
- Support contract lifecycle management, tracking renewals, expiries, and key obligations.
4. Special Projects
- Lead or coordinate cross-functional special projects as directed by the Co-CEOs, such as facility development workstreams, market entry initiatives, or systems rollouts.
- Provide project structure and discipline: scoping, timelines, stakeholder coordination, and progress reporting.
5. People & HR Foundations
- Support in the development of the company's initial HR policy framework, covering employment policies, leave, code of conduct, and onboarding/offboarding.
- Support personnel matters including recruitment coordination, employment contracts, performance review frameworks, and employee documentation.
Requirements
Critical Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience in business operations, business services, management consulting, or a comparable generalist role
- Hands-on experience implementing or managing ERP / core business systems, including requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, and rollout
- Proven track record writing, documenting, and maintaining SOPs, workflows, and templates across departments
- Strong financial literacy: comfortable with KPIs, P&L reporting, and building dashboards (Excel, Power BI, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and adoption through influence and credibility, this role carries no line authority over the departments it works with
- Self-starter able to build a function from scratch and operate effectively in ambiguity; this is a 0-to-1 role with no existing playbook
- Highly organized, with strong written communication, SOP quality and board/investor reporting depend directly on this
- Proven discretion handling confidential material (contracts, NDAs, board minutes, corporate records)
Important Requirements
- Exposure to legal and contract administration: tracking renewals, expiries, and contractual obligations
- Prior experience specifically in SME or scale-up environments
- Work alongside key internal stakeholders across different functions
- Some HR or people-ops exposure: recruitment coordination, employment contracts, or policy drafting
- Willingness and availability for full-time, on-site presence in Dubai (Al Quoz / Alserkal Avenue) with occasional travel
- Food & beverage, FMCG and/or hospitality industry experience
Nice to Have Requirements
- Media and/or creative industry experience
- Direct prior experience producing board or investor reporting packs

How your CV match score is calculated
Your score is based on evidence found in your CV against the job requirements. The analysis considers clear statements, related experience, and supporting context, not only exact keyword matches. Recruiters can include extra role-specific criteria in this job, so this result may differ from the public CV match tool.
