Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Forward Deployed Engineer to facilitate the successful deployment and operationalization of AI solutions within enterprise production environments. This role serves as a critical bridge between advanced AI technology and real-world application, requiring a unique blend of software engineering, infrastructure expertise, and customer-facing communication. Our client expects the successful candidate to collaborate directly with customer engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to implement scalable, secure, and reliable AI systems. Requirements
Critical Requirements
- 3-8 years of experience in software, infrastructure, platform, or solutions engineering
- Strong production experience with Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proven customer-facing experience working with engineering, security, or compliance teams
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English communication skills
- Availability for twice-weekly evening meetings to align with an international team
Important Requirements
- Previous experience in a startup, technology consulting, or modern cloud infrastructure environment
- Ability to build deployment automation, Helm charts, scripts, and runbooks
- Experience leading technical planning, solution architecture, and production readiness reviews
Nice to Have Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Generative AI, LLM applications, or AI infrastructure
- Knowledge of AI deployment, evaluation, and observability platforms
- Experience with identity and access management solutions (OIDC, SAML, Keycloak, Entra ID, Okta)
- Background in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or government
