Job Description
As the Lead iOS Engineer, you will set the technical direction for our iOS SDK, bridging deep technical execution with broader engineering strategy. You will act as a force multiplier for the wider mobile engineering organisation while remaining hands-on with the most critical and complex code. You will architect scalable, secure mobile solutions, collaborate across platforms to ensure API parity, and mentor engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
Requirements
Critical Requirements
- Mastery of Swift.
- Strong grounding in Objective-C interoperability.
- Deep knowledge of iOS security primitives, including Keychain, Secure Enclave, and biometric authentication.
- Demonstrated experience setting technical direction across multiple teams or workstreams.
- Track record of shipping and versioning public-facing frameworks with clean, stable APIs for external partners.
- Expert-level knowledge of Swift async/await and Combine.
- Expert-level knowledge of the iOS application lifecycle.
Important Requirements
- Cross-functional communication skills to align product, security, and engineering stakeholders in a matrixed organisation.
- Experience establishing engineering-wide practices, such as CI/CD standards or system reliability practices.
- Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP / KMM)
- Specialised domain knowledge in Identity, Fintech, or Telecom.
Nice to Have Requirements
- Experience in fraud detection, jailbreak/root detection (RASP), or mobile security platforms.
