Job Description
Role Overview
- This is a market-building role, not a caretaking one. The company is introducing marine advertising — ads on ferries, water taxis, abras, marine stations and other RTA marine transport inventory — as a brand-new product in the UAE. Nobody has sold this inventory before, so this hire won't just be closing deals; they'll be creating demand for a category that doesn't exist yet.
- The right person is comfortable operating without a proven playbook: pitching and educating clients and agencies on why this new inventory is worth trying, and building a healthy pipeline patiently rather than expecting a fast, transactional sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business for a newly launched marine advertising portfolio (ferries, water taxis, abras, marine stations and other RTA marine inventory)
- Meet direct clients and media agencies to introduce and educate them on marine advertising
- Prepare proposals and presentations
- Negotiate and close deals
- Build long-term client relationships and secure repeat bookings
- Coordinate campaign execution with the operations team
- Support company events and market research
- Monitor competitor activity
- Cross-sell other outdoor advertising assets across the wider portfolio
Requirements
Critical Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant sales experience in Outdoor Advertising, Media Sales, Transit Advertising, or at an advertising agency, in the UAE
- Bachelor's degree holder
- Proven experience selling static and/or digital outdoor advertising (unipoles, media facades, digital screens, hoardings)
- Experience selling RTA, taxi, marine or other premium OOH media
- An existing network of contacts among Marketing Directors/CMOs, Brand Managers, Buyers and Planners across a broad range of direct-client sectors: real estate, retail, jewellery, exchange houses, hypermarkets, healthcare, travel & aviation, F&B, and banking (specific accounts to be discussed at interview stage)
- Established relationships with sales contacts at major international and local advertising agencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Must have their own car
- Hindi/Urdu language fluency
- English language fluency
Important Requirements
- Comfortable building a market from scratch; pitching, educating and growing a pipeline without a fully proven product
- High energy and resilience, with the confidence to negotiate firmly and push back when needed
- Agile, out-of-the-box thinker with strong relationship-building instincts
- Confident, presentable, and skilled at proposal writing and client presentations
Nice to Have Requirements
- A personal sales track record averaging AED 5–8 million per year over the last 3 years in digital/static outdoor advertising

How your application is reviewed
You get an instant result: After you apply, Ansius compares your CV with the role requirements and shows your match score in seconds.
What happens next: This score is used for pre-screening. If your score meets the employer's review threshold, your application moves forward for recruiter review. If not, you still receive a clear result immediately.
Why this is useful: This is not simple keyword matching. Ansius uses AI to understand direct, implied, and indirect evidence in your CV, similar to how recruiters review applications during manual screening.
How your CV match score is calculated
Your score is based on evidence found in your CV against the job requirements. The analysis considers clear statements, related experience, and supporting context, not only exact keyword matches. Recruiters can include extra role-specific criteria in this job, so this result may differ from the public CV match tool.
