Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join their team and bridge the gap between complex business requirements and cutting-edge technology. In this role, our client expects the successful candidate to design and implement scalable data platforms, distributed systems, and high-volume ETL/ELT pipelines. The role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders and customers, requiring a balance of strategic vision and hands-on technical execution. Requirements
Critical Requirements
- Fluent proficiency in both Finnish and English (written and spoken)
- Proven experience in translating business needs into technical data requirements
- Extensive experience designing and operating large-scale data systems
- Strong expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Important Requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Solid understanding of data lake architectures and modern data platform technologies
- Experience with data governance concepts such as MDM, data catalogs, and data lineage
Nice to Have Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt
- Hands-on experience with Databricks
- Existing cloud certifications
