Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in managing, optimizing, and transforming our hybrid IT landscape, which seamlessly integrates on-premise infrastructure with modern cloud services. You will take ownership of our Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, playing a key role in ongoing cloud migration initiatives within our international engineering organization. Requirements
Critical Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration.
- Strong expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID.
- Proven experience with hybrid IT environments (cloud & on-premise).
- Solid knowledge of core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, Exchange (Online & On-Premise), and Group Policies.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell or similar scripting tools for automation.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Fluent German (C1 level) and proficient technical English (B1 level).
Important Requirements
- Experience supporting cloud transformation and migration of on-premise systems to Azure.
- Experience managing virtualization environments (e.g., VMware).
- Experience with backup and security systems.
- Ability to coordinate external IT vendors and collaborate effectively with international stakeholders.
- Experience ensuring IT security, compliance, and system availability across diverse environments.
- Proven ability to analyze, design, and implement new technical solutions and process improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of IT projects and drive continuous improvement of the IT landscape.
