Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Structural Manager to lead structural engineering activities for a major project in Riyadh. The successful candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of structural engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with international standards and local codes while coordinating across multidisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for technical oversight, resolving complex constructability issues, and mentoring a team of engineers to ensure project success from design through to handover.
Requirements
Critical Requirements
- 12-15 years of professional experience in structural engineering within the construction industry.
- Proven experience in reviewing and approving structural shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- In-depth knowledge of international structural standards and local Saudi Arabian building codes.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary coordination with architectural, MEP, and infrastructure teams.
Important Requirements
- Strong track record in identifying design discrepancies and providing practical engineering solutions.
- Experience in monitoring engineering KPIs and managing deliverables within contractual timelines.
- Excellent communication skills for attending technical meetings with Clients, Consultants, and Contractors.
- Proficiency in supporting QA/QC procedures and ensuring site compliance with approved structural details.
Nice to Have Requirements
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows.
- Proven history of successful value engineering and field modification management.
- Experience in project handover processes, including As-Built documentation.
